International Money transfer

Hello everyone, 

I'm looking for some advice and information. Does any one know of a way to send large amounts of money to other countries (Colombia) 

I am looking to buy a property in Colombia, but need to send the funds to pay it buy it cash, the offices I've been to that send money abroad tell me that i have a 3k per month limit. That would make the process pretty long. Any info or advice is appreciated. Thank you!
