Memorial Day Moment

Today is Memorial Day, and I wanted to pause from the usual real estate and investing conversations to acknowledge the meaning of this day.

Memorial Day is not just time off or the start of summer. It is a day to remember those who served and never came home.

It is also a reminder that service carries a cost. Some lives were lost. Some were forever changed by injury, disability, trauma, or grief. Some families still carry the absence of someone they loved every single day.

Whatever our personal views may be about the state of the country, I believe we can still honor the people who gave more than most of us will ever be asked to give.

Today, I’m holding space for the fallen, the wounded, the families, and all those whose sacrifice should never be treated as ordinary.

May we remember with humility and respect.
