Thanks to those that gave me suggestions for both NY and Egypt. Especially for suggesting the Step Pyramids outside Cairo. This has been an amazing trip to see the history of this area in person through culture, temples , pyramids etc.
There are 250 River cruise boats doing the Nile daily. They are clean and relaxing. There are currently deals that will surprise you pricewise. If interested, PM me. It has been a fascinating trip and a couple more days remaining. One of the best travel bargains I've found. A bit over 1K per person, including airfare. 6-9 hours time difference is somewhat challenging for communication, but other than that, no problems. Thanks again to those who advised me on options.
