Government Budget Solution

There is a very easy solution for the government's budget shortfalls: Every government employee will have their salary reduced by 50% and the funds used to make up budget shortfalls. If they do not accomplish anything on this salary, their pay will be reduced to the lowest paid worker in their district. There is a major conflict of interest as to salary and representing the people. Many are not there to represent anyone besides themselves.

Is that "Taxation without Representation" like we hated England for??
