Need Help - Anyone ever own a massage business?

My step mom is a massage therapist and she wants to open her own business.  I have a meeting with her Wednesday to discuss it.  It would be helpful if I could pick your brain to understand the total cost of owning and operating this kind of business.  It would be in Chicago - thanks
