While I would certainly be pissed at the squatters (I'd probably hire a demolision crew to knock the house down before I let them stay there), in their defense, they probably sincerely believe they own the house because they "bought it" from a real estate agent. So, you can understand their perspective.

That said, there is no defense for a**hole agent who defrauded them all, and I'd probably track him down, bury him in the basement of his own house, and just move in there.
