Earnest money holder

Hello I would like to say if you are dealing with investing in Georgia be careful who the earnest money is being hold by. I put down earnest money for a prior that said that it was new rehab. When I did my due diligence with the home inspection it showed a lot of hazardous problems. I asked if they will fix them or I would pull out. When I did not get a response I pulled out and asked for my earnest money back. Emily D. Webb, Attorney of Lawson &Beck Sandlin

560 Newnan Crossing Bypass

Ste: 100

Newnan, Ga. 30265

They played games in which my realtor sent them all the information on what happen and they still played games and after 2 months they going to say I did not respond and was given the money to the seller. For which everything was sent over in a timely manner and they still going to give my money to the seller.

We have worked with Lawson, Beck, and Sandlin consistently over the last 4 years and have never had any problems. They go above and beyond on every deal and are able to easily handle our non traditional transactions. They are incredibly investor friendly and great to work with.

After reading your other posts it sounds like the issue might be with your agent. The earnest money holder is just following a process and if the required steps aren't completed to terminate a deal then they are obligated to give the money to the seller.

Best of luck on your future deals!
