Hi! My husband and I are getting close to closing on our first rental property in Baton Rouge (yay!). I was wondering if anybody has a good homeowner/landlord insurance agent? I starting to call around a get quotes, but I want to work with somebody I can trust and will explain the pros/cons of each policy to me!  Thanks for your help!

@Amy Hobbs and @Larry H. : I'm happy to help! I'm an investor myself and our insurance agency was actually founded by an investor, so we understand all of the risks involved. Please feel free to call me on my cell at 2259391952. The local REIA/RING meetings are great. I've been going for a while and it's been a great resource and learning experience for me as an investor. Good luck!
