Where to Find Zoning information for specific home/City?

Hello,

My wife just had a house pop up on her radar due to a friend of hers posting constantly on Facebook...
It is in Mound, MN and it "seems" like a good deal and in our budget. We would live in it first then rent it out after a couple years. My question is, where do I find zoning information to know if I would be able to turn it into a duplex after we move out. It is currently a single family home.

If anybody in Twin cities, or Minneapolis, Minnesota, lake Minnetonka region what to chime in with their experience that would be great. If not, then general info about where to find said info would be much obliged.
Thanks Ya'll

@Bryant Amundson you will have to call the city and find out.  Most cities don't have rules on short term rentals in place yet, they have been rising in popularity and Mpls and St. Paul are starting to brainstorm how they want to handle them.  I am sure Mound doesn't have anything in their code about it.

Call up the city, tell them you are interested in a property zoned XXXX and the property has 2 structures on it.  Ask if you would need a variance or a change in zoning to rent out two units.  Your initial question about asking to convert to a duplex is a completely different conversation....
