Stony Point, New York

Hi everybody!  I have spent the last six months working on a deal to purchase a short-sale multi-family in Stony Point, NY.  The end is almost in sight - I think the Squatter was finally ejected/evicted November 30th (still don't have confirmation of this), so I will finally be able to close on the property within the next two weeks or so.

I noticed that Stony Point, NY real estate lags behind all the surrounding towns and can't understand why.  The property I am purchasing has a two-family house, on 1.25 acres of land overlooking the Hudson River, for a ridiculously low price.

Is anyone on BP familiar with Stony Point, NY?  Thank you!
