Charleston Area Flip

I possibly posted this question in the wrong category the other day.

I was given first right of refusal to a 3/1.5 at 4783 Linda St in Charleston SC by a friend and associate. The numbers fit within 70% arv, average days on market seem tolerable, and I'm driving down late this week to verify rehab figures. Right off The Mark Clark Exit 16 close to the Boeing Plant and Ashley River.

What are some of the more popular design trends in Charleston for these little brick ranches? Is there a specific demographic that purchases in this area?  Is this an area that is desirable. I can look at numbers and figures all day, but I'm still more hands on and would like some in the street opinions, if anyone has them to share.

those are good numbers if they are accurate.. we have had good luck in pockets of N> Charleston.. and actually we have been instrumential in changing some of the streets having built about 20 new constructions there.. Not nearly as fruitful as downtown.. but still solid numbers.  personally I have really never seen a war zone there compared to other markets I work that have true war zones.
