Rebates/Incentives Adding Insulation into Multifamily Properties?

Question

Does anyone know of rebates or incentives for adding blown insulation into attics of multifamily complexes of 200+ units or more in the State of Texas?   CenterPoint currently does not offer any.   I came across 'Texas PACE Authority' if anyone can offer feedback on this particular program.

@Mike Reynolds  Thanks for your detailed reply.

I contacted CenterPoint Energy last week before posting here.  The rep told me CP only offers insulation incentives in the State of Minnesota, and will eventually offer the same in Texas.  Understandably, sometimes one rep will tell you something completely different than another agent from the same company.  This may be the case here:   where you know of CP discounts on insulation that no one from CenterPoint Energy could tell me about  If so, I'd appreciate learning more from you, or you pointing me where to look.  I already searched CenterPoint's website.

Because we have multiple older complexes in Houston that we will continue making energy-efficiency upgrades to (probably for years), I may still PM you about your contractor early next year ... after the contracts have been awarded.

Are they located in Houston? I found out that CP had cancelled theirs but I think Entergy still has one.

Unfortunately greater Austin in member owned so you wont qualify. Houston, Dallas, Corpus, East Texas and some parts of west Texas do.

@Cheri Lange @Beau Fannon  Center Point does have a program still in effect that will give you a discount on insulation. It's not what it used to be because then it was free. I used to do it myself. The hardest thing in the world to sell is something free lol.

Anyway, I know a contractor that still does it and I will get in touch with them. It wont be right away because the contracts arent bid until Nov and start in Feb usually. This time of year they will take the excess and use it on smaller properties so 200 is probably a no go this time of year. The problem with Center Point is they usually dont pay as much as Oncor or SWEPCO so many contractors dont do those areas. I know of only one right now but there are others I am sure.

Anyone else that are on investor owned utilities that want these types of services for big discounts PM me and I may can help you out. No matter who your provider is as long as your line and power company is Oncor, SWEPCO or ENTERGY they can help out. @cheri

Center Point is gas but if you have Entergy line and power I can help maybe.
