Inspector in Birmingham?

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for an inspector who can do an inspection on a potential turnkey deal and also serve as my boots on the ground.  Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

Hi! I invest in the Birmingham area and I use Jeff with Ace Home Inspections. His assessment is extremely thorough throughout the home from the roof to the basement/crawlspace. He provides detailed analysis and pictures to support his findings captured in an online accessible report. My last inspection took upwards of 5 hours to complete. @Marlene Goldenberg I have used Larry Brooks a few times in Birmingham. His company is called Alatech. He's very reasonably priced and thorough.

We used Derl Nelson from AQI Inspection Services.  He did a great job for us.  We are out of state and bought a supposed turnkey.  Derl found many problems, so we were able to get them repaired before taking possession.  He had to go back to the property more than once. He was very helpful for a long distance owner.

I have referred clients to HouseMaster  https://housemaster.com/franchise/000318/localinfo Greg gives a detailed report that is easy to read with photos. Also Annello Home Inspection, Chris Annello is a former contractor so he knows about repair work and he was an expert witness in the Chinese drywall cases. Hi @Marlene Goldenberg. We have used a company called Alabama Home Inspections (http://www.thebirminghamhomeinspector.com) for the majority of the properties we have in Birmingham, AL. He does a great job and is fast about getting out to the property and getting the report back to you. Hope this helps.
