Seller Financing Contracts

New investor here with my first deal under my belt!

Now it's time for number two. Had the opportunity to do a seller financing deal that fell through. Ultimately, I'm glad it did because I didn't know as much about seller financing as I thought.

I need to know more about Notes/ the correct contract to write up or anything about the paperwork involved. Do most people involve lawyers during this process? Are there boilerplate forms for this???

If anyone has some tips and tricks they'd like to share, please reply!!

I’m sure there are plenty of standard forms available but I would definitely recommend using a real estate attorney to draw it up for you. It will be more of an upfront cost, but definitely worth it in the long term. Be sure to try and find an attorney that specializes in real estate.
