PadSplit - Any hosts in FL?
Hi everyone,
I attended BPCon last year here in Orlando and PadSplit was one of the hot topics. BUT...I haven't seen much discussion about PadSplit here on the forums. If you are a PadSplit investor, how has it been performing for you? What is your experience with the platform? How is their customer support? I'm curious to hear your actual experiences!
If you are using PadSplit here in Central Florida (the Orlando/Tampa I4 corridor and surrounding areas) would especially love to hear your experience! Seems like there is a big need around here for workforce housing from Amazon employees, hospitality, nurses and more.
Always looking for new strategies for our investors, and for us.

PadSplit has over 320 rooms occupied in Orlando right now, over 700 in Jax, and over 800 in Tampa. Rented rooms just aren't shown on the site. @Nick Huffman I started renting rooms in 2009, and PadSplit was just created to do the things that made room rentals so operationally intensive as an independent investor. Think of anything that a normal landlord either cannot do or wouldn't want to do on their own. There's listing a room on the social or listing sites, but then there's sifting through all the folks that aren't serious or don't show up for tours. Average time to book or rebook a room through PS is <7 days across all markets, faster in places like Tampa or ATL. PS also handles all billings/collections, and has a bunch of tools and service to deal with communication and resident/resident escalations, and has built an ecosystem of vendors in core markets to support pretty much anything you'd need.
