How to find people to show and check on properties out of my area

Question

For the most part, I have tried to stay local within driving distance of where I live.  I have on occasion found properties that would fit what I was looking for with the exception they were out of my area.

I would almost rather not buy a property than spend time on the road going back-and-forth to properties.

What has been your method of finding out of the area reasonably priced help to either check on a house or show a house.  I guess my main focus right now is to get some answers on what your primary method would be to find someone simply to check on a house or  show a house to a potential buyer.

well we do this in 10 plus states.. Real Estate brokers list all our props.. Unless my cleints have relationships with one of the Marketing companies that specialize in selling cash flow rentals and only provide the product to their customer base .. That works for rentals.

But with Land we fund and retail its all RE brokers.. However being a RE Broker since 75 I am highly bias to our industry and finding and working with top brokers.

I will though also work with new agents and try to teach them what I have learned over the years so they can get going in their career.

I would think you have 2 options - 1) Find a minor partner who knows their stuff and is willing to spend the time to do this, 2) Find a Realtor to do the above

I think option #2 is the better one...that is, if you can find a Realtor that will give you all that time with no payback at first. Maybe find a younger, really smart Realtor that you trust as they would be more open to working for free for a while. You could even draw up some papers to make it legit, maybe offer them a per diem of some sort?

Just random thoughts.....
