House hacking is hands down one of the best ways to build a portfolio when you don’t have much money. The very first place I bought had a leak so bad it looked like a waterfall in the living room, but my wife stuck it out because I promised her this was just step one and that patience would pay off. Fast forward and that one messy deal turned into everything that came after. Curious what other house hacking stories are out there.
