Someone on CL stole my listing, what would you do

My realtor just called about my latest flip (which is under contract). Two people reached out to him this evening about the "rental" listing on Craigslist. It seems someone is using my house/address to scam people into giving them money for deposits and then they get no rental (or some other form of scam). The only reason my realtor wasn't involved, the potential renters drove by the address and called his number from the for sale sign.

The obvious first thing to do is get his lock box off (I have seen a flip where they broke the lock box for a rental scam). What I would like to try is find the ad, get in touch, and somehow get this scammer in trouble. If he is planning to meet someone and get cash, he could meet me, and the police... not sure the police would care or entertain doing something like this, but why not ask.

Any other suggestions in case I find the "rental company" and can reach out?
