Purchasing an apartment/condo in Thousand Oaks

Hi everyone!

I am moving to Ventura County in 5-6 months and plan on purchasing a home in 2-3 years, most likely in the Thousand Oaks area. In the meantime, instead of dumping 2k a month on a rental, I was thinking about purchasing a 2 bed/2 bath apartment or condo to stay in and eventually rent out in Thousand Oaks. 

Can anyone recommend a good realtor in the area?

Also, I am completely new to real estate investing and am interested in small multifamily properties and would love to connect with others on this forum for potential opportunities.
