San Diego Property Tax Records

Hi fellow San Diego investors! I'm having trouble finding property owner info on the San Diego County website - can anyone point me in the right direction?

A little background: I bought my first two deals through a realtor off the MLS. With how competitive the market has become the last few years, I have been looking for my next deal by "driving for dollars" in my target neighborhood, and plan to start a direct mail campaign. I suspect that most of my target houses are rentals.

I know you used to be able to find property owner information off of the San Diego County Property Tax website, but I can't seem to find it anymore.  This page ( https://iwr.sdtreastax.com/SanDiegoTTCPaymentAppli... ) keeps giving me an error message ("Record not found"), no matter what address I enter.

Has something changed?  Do I have to go down to the Municipal Building and pull up the records in person?

Thanks for your help!

You can try here by searching by the property's APN : https://arcc-acclaim.sdcounty.ca.gov/search/Search...

Another solution that costs money is subscribing to Property Radar. It's all public data but they have it organized effectively. Useful too when you want to mail all owner occupants/absentees in the neighborhood you're driving - they have export functions.
