Finding a real estate coach

Justice Ventura
Posted

I am currently 26 years old, married with a wife and kids. I am looking to start building a RE portfolio. I currently live in South Florida where Mortgages, Taxes and Insurance rates are extremely high. I am considering moving to Knoxville Tennessee to begin house hacking and start my journey in building a portfolio. I say all this to ask where would you recommend someone find and locate a mentor for real estate investing. I am reading books, listening to podcast but I think locating a mentor will be extremely helpful in acquiring knowledge as investor. Any comments would be great. Thank you for reading this!

@Justice Ventura

i wouldn't try to "find a mentor," i think that is something that happens naturally or not.  i would just build a network of other investors and folks in real estate.  if you're not going to meetups already i would start doing that even if you don't end up investing in FL.

good luck
