If you serious… Execute

Made the decision to visit the market I'm trying to invest in. Figured I'm not going to be doing anything important this weekend so might as well drive there and see the city for myself. It's a long drive but I have the time, energy and finances to visit on my off days. Hoping this tiny initiative will help me get a little closer to my goals and one step closer to owning a property.

I am a very hesitant person when it comes to doing the unfamiliar but when my mind is made up I am also very stubborn. Trail-by-fire has helped me grow so much in the past. Therefore I'm using this uncomfort to my advantage. Hotel is booked and paid for. Now I have no choice but to go!

Don't let yourself hold you back from your ambitions.

@Francis Bernadel Congratulations, you are taking one of the most important but least talked about steps.

The people who know the market the best get the best deals. knowing your market is vital, especially when you invest from a distance because it is to easy to scam an out of state investor.  I would caution that one visit does not make you an expert on a market. It is just aa great first step.

I suggest you follow @James McGoverns advice and try to network with some people there to accelerate your knowledge growth.  Good luck
