Break it once, and people remember. Honor it, and doors keep opening.

Just had one of those moments that remind you why reputation matters more than any deal. A newer wholesaler brought a solid property to Cody, our Acquisitions Director. We did everything right—inspection, rehab numbers, underwriting—and gave a clear yes. Then out of nowhere: “Hey, we just got a higher offer.” Cody didn’t argue. He walked. That’s the difference between chasing checks and building a business. In real estate, your word is your contract. Break it once, and people remember. Honor it, and doors keep opening. Ever had a wholesaler pull something like that?
