Multi family house hacking

Erick Nunez
Posted

Hello my name is Erick. In the next 90-120 days I will be purchasing my first multi family home and begin my house hacking journey. I’m looking in the northwest side of Chicago and would gladly appreciate any advice, suggestions, and or even direction. My goal is to house hack for a year, save money. Fully rent out and do it again! Thank you all

@Erick Nunez

Welcome! House hacking is a great strategy to get started and build your portfolio.

Recommended next steps include

(1) connect with investor-friendly lenders to get pre approved.

(2) once you know your budget, determine your buy box.

(3) work with an agent that is experienced with house hacking and real estate investing.

(4) Tour properties, submit offers, and close on your first house hack!
