What I Ask Investors Before Recommending Financing

Before I ever recommend a loan product, I usually ask a few questions: 1) What’s the exit strategy 2) How long do you expect to own the property? 3) Is cash flow or appreciation the bigger priority? 4) How much renovation is involved? 5) How important is speed versus cost? 6) Are you trying to preserve cash for future deals? 7) What’s your long-term portfolio goal? The reason I ask is simple: the “best” financing option for one investor can be the wrong choice for another.
