Best Practice: Tracking Money Beyond Google Sheets

Francois Bessing
Posted

Hey everyone,

I am currently using Google Sheets and manually entering in every amount coming in from various sources and doing a 70/30 split (I’ve committed to using Jim Rohn’s method of wealth building.)

Is there a better way to track all of this?

I can definitely do it by hand but I feel that there must be a better way.

Suggestions welcome.

Francois

@Francois Bessing

Are you referring to your bookkeeping? Or simply just your personal finances?

Bookkeeping - I highly recommend Quickbooks as it's very intuitive and most CPA's / Bookkeepers use it.

Personal Finances - Keep doing what you're doing. The best tool for tracking your own finances is the ONE YOU'LL ACTUALLY USE. Don't get bogged down with this concept. If it's quick and you understand what you're looking at, then great.
