New Job or Focus on my business?

Question

I dont make enough in my day job to build my business and pay my bills, should i get a better (higher paying job) or should keep my head down and keep working my business?

See i would like to start making more money while i wait for business to be profitable but i feel that if i start job hunting i only be distracting my self. Am i being too dramatic and should look for another job? or should stay put and wait for my efforts to pay off in the long run?

Any advice will do guys im just looking for a bit of insight, what you do ?

Understood Vick. You could also try to market some of your skills on a place like Upwork or another freelance site, where you may have more access to jobs than in HI.

It's a rather personal question.  How you approach it depends on what you want to accomplish and how much you want to hustle.  Some folks are very motivated and will hustle to no end whereas others aren't aligned with that lifestyle - which is perfectly fine.  Figure out where you are in that spectrum and follow suit.  On that note, I can find gardeners, cleaners or random taskers for $20/hr on the cheap end.  So it's definitely possible.

Thanks for the reply man. Finding a part time job in Hawaii at 20 bucks an hour will be a challenge. But one I will look into. Major actions to get me closer would have to be getting my marketing up and running getting in leads is my number one goal right now

Depends, could you spend some extra hours a week working a part time job? Even 5 hours per week (at $20/hr) would be another 5k per year. That would provide a ton of options for you to begin to scale - saving for a property, hiring services/people, or doing marketing like direct mail.
