If you rent land to a soybean farmer, don't expect to get any checks this year.

The bottom has fallen out and the concern is that demand disruption will push those who didn't sell options into the red. The potential for a ripple through equipment sales, etc., is real. I'd say soybeans have already peaked. I'd say leased farm prices have peaked in those areas impacted...

Some markets will do worse than others, real estate is fragmented and market dependent.

there is a LOT of money to be made from clicks, so pointing to doomsday is really popular.

"experts" have been predicting that we are at a peak for a few years now.  We all know that it is cyclical, so someday it will peak.  I know I can't predict exactly when, though.

It depends on where you are. Some markets are at peak, some are past and some have fallen in general. If you break down those markets into price categories you will see that maybe 3 out of 5 have peaked or past but 2 haven't yet. There is still some time to get deals to feel happy about now and in time you might be upset about those deals or very happy. Only time will tell and I hope you come out on the good side of things
