US Housing Permits still well below historical levels

Don't listen to the chicken little's about a bubbling real estate market. Very very few (like .000001%) will ever accurately pick a top or bottom in the market. Stick to your plan and even if we do hit a recession in next 2 years, you'll be alright. Buy when market is high, buy when market is low. There's never been a dip that hasn't been bought, you'll be alright. 

Lot's of talk on these forums about markets being too high. Remember that markets can stay irrational for a very very long time. Don't let your money burn waiting on the sidelines. 

US. Single Family housing permits are still in 

a  firm uptrend and well below historical highs.
