Investor Checking Out Miami
I'm headed to Miami for 8 days beginning this Tuesday. I'm curious about moving to Miami, or living their part time. An ideal situation would be a property that I could either house hack or at do short term rentals out of when I'm not in town. It's too soon to say if I'm going to be living in New Orleans with a vacation home in Miami, or vice versa.
I'll probably purchase the property with a vacation property mortgage. It all depends on the numbers making sense. I'm very curious what neighborhoods I should be exploring, where investments make sense for appreciation and cash flow.
I'd love to meet other people in the investment community in Miami. Also, I've already been vaccinated. I was part of the Novavax clinical trials, so I'm pretty safe to meet with for anyone worried about that.

I'm doing something similar. I'm looking to buy a single family home to refurbish, rent to my parents-in-law, airbnb, and then either rent out, flip, or move into.
