How to find Chicago Meetups

Question

Good Morning!

Im looking for meetups in Chicago but having a hard time finding them. Is there a calendar or other resource on BP that shares when meetups are happening?

THere's a lot of meet ups that are really just money making ventures for the organizers, so be careful.  Two that I can vouch for are CAREIA (Chicago Real Estate Investors Association) in Lisle is a good one. https://www.biggerpockets.com/co/CAREIA.  There's another one I went to through BiggerPockets 3rd Tuesday at Dino's Pizza located at 7004 West Higgins Avenue from 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm.

I have gone to two Redevelop U meetups, one of them was held in the property they are flipping in Bucktown and this one was at no cost. The recent one was $5, which I'm guessing went towards the conference room cost.ChicagoREIA will require paid membership after your first complimentary attendance.

Thanks for the recommendation. I have seen all three on the boards and will be attending the RE and Cocktails next meetup. Is Redevelop U a paid group (are the pitching classes)?

There aren't many meetups in the north side of Chicago where I'm located. From the ones I attended here, I can definitely recommend:

"ChicagoREIA" (not always in Chicago proper)

"North Side Chicago Real Estate Investors - Redevelop U"
