How to record changes in property for resell

Hello,

I have purchased a rental property that is listed on MLS as 2 BR 2.5BA.

It does have an extra office space that i will be converting into a bedroom.

I will also be adding a shower to the 1/2 bathroom.

I will be renting it out, but i am thinking ahead. How to record those changes in Country Appraisal District to reflect the bedroom and bathroom addition?
