Hello,

Maybe someone can help me. I Hire a contractor to do a full rehab on a 6 unit building I bought about 6 months ago, we worked together on a duplex I also own and he did great. After earning my trust I let him start on the big job, I am also an OFS investor so I was gambling by not being there. first couple of weeks he was updating me every other day. all of a sudden he ghosts me. no calls, texts, or emails. what should I do in this situation? can anyone help or provide some advise?

@Javaras Thomas

Hopefully you did not give him more money than he had done work? If people would would not overpay Contractors this would not be a big deal. For example, the Contr finished electrical, you pay him for electrical, same for plumbing and framing. You and he are then always even. He leaves you hanging, so what? You are square with him.

Such a simple premise....why do people not do this.....?
