Do I mail an offer to vacant house?

Hello fellow friends, if I found a vacant property, do I mail the postcard to them or would that be a waste of paper?

Is my option to find the owner and phone them?

Hey Daniil,

Great question. Tax records and skip tracing is great. I typically start by asking the neighbors. Most neighbors don't like vacant houses next door and are more than willing to help you connect with the owner and usually have more info about the house and it's history. Plus when you finally connect with the owner, you can refer to their neighbor to build trust. Best of luck.

There is a free "www.truepeoplesearch.com"

That does a great job of pulling up all kinds of info including other associated addresses possible relatives etc ... and phone numbers mail text etc   things can fall when relatives don't know what to do with a property or who has claim etc ...  good hunting

Hey Daniil,

I'm a licensed broker, investor, and property manager here in Sacramento. When I see something I like while driving around, I note the address and as soon as I get home I check it in the tax records.

If it's absentee owner (owner doesn't live there) then I will skiptkace the address (I recommend Batchskiptracing) and find the phone number / email / mailing address for the owner. From there you can get in touch and see what happens.
