Brick that looks like siding?

Question

Has anyone come across a house that is made of brick, but the brick looks like vinyl siding from a distance? If so what is this called? I know they make siding that looks like brick, but it isn't that.

What you've got there is a possible one of the first post war style neighborhood, and maybe a "National" home which you can find in every town through the Midwest (I'm in Indiana, so I'm not sure if the same goes for New England area). They were the first cookie cutter style homes built after the wars. This could have been a technique from a local brick layer. I've never seen it around here though. Pretty cool stuff!

@Justin Polston Surprisingly it is real brick. I also found out the neighborhood was built in the late 40's early 50's, so maybe it is a style or technique from that time?

Interesting...You usually hear about the other way around (siding looks like brick, stone, slate, etc.). Is it even real brick?

And this has to be more of a technique than a product. Brick can be laid up thousands of ways and thicknesses depending on the aesthetics or structural demands of the home/building.

Yes, here is a picture from the MLS. It's a terrible picture, but maybe someone can recognize it. I was curious as to what it is called, becuase there were a few of these houses in that neighborhood.
