I'm looking to do rehabs in the Chicago area, any investors or Agents in the Chicago area that is knowledgeable in rehabs or fix and flips in this location could you please provide any tips, tricks or knowledge on investing in Chicago? What's the best way to run comps? What should I be looking for? How should I scale my business to look for opportunities? Anything would help. Also looking to do partnership too.

@Tremon P. - I see you are not local.  What areas are you looking in?  Chicago would be the last place I would start a fix and flipping business from out of state.  I love Chicago, been and investor here for 12+ years and I have found hundreds of investors properties as an agent.

But Chicago is not an easy city to work in if you do not have boots on the ground and familiarity with everything. Permits, zoning, expeditors, alderman, floor area ratio, water service updates, ADU zones. It can be a mess and a mistake can cost you tens of thousands of dollars.
