New to bp. Everyone on this forum is amazing. The knowledge hear is limitless. Thank you. My question is, would anyone recommend a DIY termite prevention, with bait and traps? I have a crawl space under my porch I'm very worried about.

If you are willing to attempt a treatment yourself, you can absolutely by termiticide the same strength professionals use. None if the chemicals used today for termites are "restricted use" Make sure and buy a NON repellent such as fipronil (termidor) or imidicloprod (premise). The label on the bottle will provide all the necessary info you will need as far as; application method, dilution rates, ppe, etc...

The only problem I would foresee is that you will need the correct equipment to apply it for a thorough treatment. An average volume of chemical would be between 50-70 gallons, greatly depending on size.

I have quite a lot of experience in that industry. If you have any questions, I would be more than willing to help.

Good luck!
