Picking a home inspector

Dave Harlan
Posted

Good afternoon everyone,

I'm wonder what your opinions are on hiring a home inspector? Pros, cons, services they offer, price, etc. Basically what do i need to know about choosing one. Thank you all for your time and advice.

Speaking as a former Home Inspector, I would try and find one that has either a building or engineering background, these guys/gals will give you the most thorough (and least alarmist) view of the property.

Ask to see one of their reports....
