Trying to leverage a commercial property I inherited free and clear but not having any traction with conventional lenders do to the fact that my wife owns the business in the building and on paper the property isn’t making a rental profit. The property is probably worth 500k give or take and I’d like to leverage the equity to fund some of these flood out homes for the last season’s storms here in central west coast Florida where I live and use my renovation business and expertise to complete rehabs myself. Any advice or connections to help me get to this goal would be much appreciated.
