Permit approvals in Los Angeles

Any rehabbers in Los Angeles (mid-city ish area) able to advise on how long I should anticipate having to wait for a permit approval to do a full gut remodel? We are wanting to take down a wall, move doors, and add a bedroom/bathroom so its definitely not a simple permit. Same question for an ADU.

I'm trying to make sure I have enough for holding costs.
