Will Grass Seed Take This Time Of Year?

I had some trees removed and the stumps ground up, so now I've got bare ground. I'm thinking of seeding it but wonder if it will take. The weather is cooling off... Thoughts? Thank you, Arnie

@Arnie Guida

It's a great time of year. Here's a timely article for you by a Wisconsin Master gardener in Portage County.  Also, be sure that you remove the stump grindings where you intend to plant. You'll need to improve the soil conditions so the seed has enough nutrients.
