Material Ordering and Tracking

Alright so starting this year off. Trying to be more organized in the way that we order our home depot materials. I'm curious as to what others out there are using when they walk through a property making a list of what is needed for the flip. We typically spend about 13k-20k in home depot material on our flip. We definitely could use something to help track orders and what we have spent so far. Sounds easy but when you have quite a few going on at once things can get out of hand quick.

I assure you, the discount you perceive that you're getting is not nearly so awesome when you compare against what a better supplier could give you with superior inventory tracking.

Consider that against that discount you have to factor in the administrative cost of tracking those parts and pieces, dealing with the big box delivery schmoes, and what happens when the one dude at Home Depot who actually knows what's going on gets sick and doesn't come in to work...
