Using multiple realtors to look for rehabs

Thinking of approaching numerous realtors who are handling various lenders foreclosures/HUD/VA homes to let them know I'm in the market instead of just using the 1 or 2 realtors I am now dealing with.

Anybody out there "knocking" on realtors doors - using as many as you can ? I figure more eyes in the market place can't hurt.

Having as large a network as possible is the best way to stay on top of the market. Different REO agents (the ones that handle bank-owned properties) get listings from different banks. Then there are HUD and FHA specialists. All of these types of agents should be on your list to contact frequently. You should also have 2 or 3 agressive agents keeping an eye on the new and revised listings for you to catch properties that are owned by consumers.
