Exterior updates

To Paint or not to paint! That is the question.

I have a house that is in relatively good condition.  The exterior siding in the back and side of the house needs a good power wash (all brick front).  Other than that, everything looks to be in good shape, no repairs needed.

My question is, would you bother to paint the exterior if it is in decent shape other than a good cleaning?

Hey there @Jenna Thomas

What is your plan with the House?  Are you renting it? or is this a flip?  If its a rental and it looks great with a good power washing then I would just clean it off.  Make it look nice.

If you a selling the property then a fresh coat of paint can go a long way.  Even just on a sales description, "fresh paint, inside and out" means something to buyers.  Paint is cheap, Assuming you are doing all the work yourself.
