Tub surrounds

Has anyone used a Lyons tub surround?  We want to install the tub cover over the existing tub and then install the surround.  The set up is affordable but I am not sure of the durability.  Please let me know if you have experience with this product.

I wouldn't. Best bang for you buck is tile the tub surround.

Subway tiles are great and 3$ sq

Go on Craigslist ad find someone who tiles on the Side/weekend. Won't cost you more than 400$ plus materials of area is already prepped.
