My wife and I have located a couple of houses in our town that we would like to purchase. One has been abandoned for at least a year. The other, also empty, just got taken off the market (no sale pending) after a year. We have gone to the county assessor, the court clerk, and the county treasurer. We have searched online. We know the owners' names and ages, and the lien status of the houses. But all listed phone numbers are disconnected, and our mailings to the addresses with return service requested have come back with no forwarding addresses. Is there a reliable paid service for current contact info? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
