I am currently having a 10 year abondoned house rehabbed.

It only had baseboard heating. What do you all feel that a good price for a HVAC unit to be.

The house had been used as sort of a club for the neighborhood kids until I started rehabbing it and the unit was supposed to be included in the contractors plans, but was not specifically listed.

It is a good company, but I failed to notice that it was not specifically included in the quote, even though we discussed it. In case I have to put out an additional sum I am looking for some range guidance.

The house was built in 1977 and is only 24X40 (960 sq ft) with a small crawlspace underneath (about 2-3 feet) on cement block foundation.
Should the unit itself be placed under the house since all wireing and copper were removed sometime in that 10 year vacant status?

Most everything else is nearing completion and all other issues have already been addressed. This may not be an issue but I just want to be prepared. Thanks in advance for your replies.
