simplisafe - security for flips? has anyone used it?

Hello BP! 1 of my contractor just his tools stolen at a job site.

Looking for options besides ADT. Looks like simplisafe is a good option.

Anyone used it and any feedback? If not, what kind of security system do you use for your flips?

I use it on my flips.  It's easy to install and works and there is a good App to control it.

Tell your contractors like I do not to leave any tools on site.

I have used it now on 4 flips and it has worked very well.  Its very easy to install without any wires or holes in the wall.  You need to make sure to get the cellular transmitter that can be off the network for extended periods of time between activation of service.  I had to switch my cellular transmitter because the one they originally sent me got turned off by the provider.  I think the correct one to have is from TMobile, but I cant remember at the moment.

I use SimpliSafe Alarm Systems on my rental units... They are easy to install and work well in most cases; however not perfect in all applications. For use on a flip, you'd be able to easily remove it to re-use on the next, so you'd only need to purchase it once. Monitoring is also less expensive than others, starting at $14.99; however the $19.99 plan is better, as it includes text and email alerts. The $24.99 plan also ads SmartPhone Control; however I've never opted for that. Key Chain Remote also works well, although far too large.

I recently purchased a couple of these units for rentals my partner & I own @Chris T.. I really like that you're not required to have internet service to get going.

I have yet to install so no feedback at this time from that standpoint.

Simplisafe was giving a discount for Bigger Pockets members; does anyone know if that is still in effect? I tried to price it online and couldn't find a difference in price.
