Condo Tax deed purchase

Hi,

My very first purchase was a lot that I was able to foreclose and take ownership of. I made a pretty good profit from selling it, but find my self seeking more ways to invest. I purchased a condo through deed sale and it appears that its currently occupied by a tenant or owner, I'm not certain. My question is regarding an HOA fees. How do I go about finding what the fees are and if there up to date? What happen if there not up to date and will I be responsible for the owners past assessment fees?
