Should I take out a pink cast iron tub???

I have a unit in Augusta Ga with pink and blue tile and a pink cast iron tub. Believe it or not, it still stays rented and has for 12 years. It drives me nuts when I have to show it though. My tenant is moving out a month early. This gives me a month to gut it and start over. I am thinking of converting the tub/shower combo into just a large shower? Am I correct in think this could save some rehab cost? My handy man starts in 3 days.

I think there is often details about our properties that bother me more than the tenants. That said a pink cast iron tub sounds fantastic. I would market it in my photos. A rental with some awesome in it.
